National children’s charity appoints accountants James Cowper Kreston

Thames Valley accountants and business advisers James Cowper Kreston has been appointed by national charity Children’s Links to provide audit, general business and tax advisory services to the charity and its trading subsidiary, Linking Up Limited.  The appointment was made on 28 February following a competitive tender involving 10 firms.

Based in Lincolnshire, Children's Links and Linking Up Limited last year had a combined turnover of £2.9 million.  The charity’s mission is to improve the quality of children’s, young people’s and family’s life experiences.  As an innovative and growing organisation, focused on customers and stakeholders, they deliver a wide range of services in response to needs and identified gaps.  From nurseries, kids’ clubs, an adventure playground, and play in communities, to workforce training and development, apprenticeships, safeguarding and supporting families affected by offending.  The services include those that support babies, children, young people, their parents and carers, the communities they live in, employers, and other children and young people’s organisations.

James Cowper Kreston acts for a number of charities across the Thames Valley and further afield including Oxford Diocesan Council for Social Work, Purley Park Trust, The British Dyslexia Foundation, Thames Valley & Chiltern Air Ambulance Trust and a number of independent schools, including The Oratory School in Reading.
