Private Client Tax Manager

James Cowper Kreston offers a superb environment in which to grow and advance your career.  This is an exciting opportunity to join their well-respected Private Client tax team in one their Thames Valley offices.  This role requires an experienced Tax professional and would suit an experienced Tax Manager or a well-established senior looking for their next step up.

Main duties and responsibilities

• Take ownership of a portfolio of private clients to include business owners, partnerships and high net worth individuals.
• Undertake a mixture of compliance and advisory work.
• Dealing with HMRC enquiries and related work,
• Reviewing work in progress and raising fees as appropriate.
• Developing and training junior staff.

To be considered for this role you will be an experienced CTA Qualified Private Client professional with excellent knowledge of UK income and capital taxes. Some employment taxes experience would be beneficial but not essential. In addition, you will need to demonstrate strong communication and relationship management skills.
