Press ReleasesThames Valley and south coast accountants and business advisers James Cowper Kreston is inviting technology sector firms and their advisers to take part in this year's Kreston Global UK Technology Survey.
Launched in November 2012, the poll promises to provide a comprehensive overview of the key issues currently affecting the sector, gathering views from the earliest stage pre-revenue spin outs to larger businesses employing over 100 people, with revenues in excess of £20 million.
Sue Staunton, partner and head of James Cowper Kreston’s Technology team said: “There can be no doubt that the last few years have been challenging for businesses in the technology sector. There is, however, a sense that things in this market may be beginning to ease. At a time when the Government continues to talk about the importance of the sector and innovation being a key factor in improving growth, it will be fascinating to find out how the various stimuli are working.”
Sue added: “We expect to get views on measures such as Patent Box and the establishment of enterprise zones. The banks and other lenders tell us they are open for business and access to funding is becoming easier. Our survey is likely to demonstrate whether this is rhetoric or reality and any disparities across the sector or indeed the country.”
Now in its fourth year, the results of the survey can be downloaded here. James Cowper Kreston and Kreston Global will be issuing a summary of the report findings to the relevant Government departments and policy makers in central and local government.
