James Cowper Kreston tops the Thames Valley Deal Awards with five nominations

Thames Valley accountants and business advisers James Cowper Kreston has been shortlisted for five awards in the prestigious annual Thames Valley Deals Awards.

The firm has been shortlisted for:

  • ‘Corporate Finance Team of the Year’;
  • Partner and head of the firm’s Corporate Finance team Nick Rogers for ‘Corporate Finance Adviser of the Year’;
  • Corporate Finance partner Stewart Lambert for ‘Dealmaker of the Year’;
  • ‘Deal of the Year – over £25m deal value’ for James Cowper Kreston’s role in advising Intelliflo’s shareholders on an investment made by HgCapital; and
  • Deal of the Year – under £25m deal value’ for James Cowper Kreston’s role in advising Eclipse Marketing Limited on its sale to US-based firm Stericycle, Inc.

The winners of each category will be announced at a gala awards night on 24 April at the Royal Berkshire Conference Centre in Reading.

  • The management buy-out of leading technology PR consultancy Whiteoaks;
  • The management buy-out led by Percipient Capital of Oxford's River Marketing Limited;
  • The sale of electrical component manufacturer and distributor GTK (UK) Limited to a management buy-out team;
  • The sale of Aggregated Telecom, 8el, to Palatine Private Equity backed Selection Services;
  • Advising the shareholders of Eclipse Marketing on its sale to New York Stock Exchange listed Stericycle, Inc;
  • Advising The Appointment Group on the acquisition of ET Travel;
  • Advising One Media on its AIM float;
  • Advising Intelliflo’s shareholders on an investment made by HgCapital;
  • Three acquisitions for City & County Healthcare Group and its subsequent secondary buy-out; and
  • The disposal of Datalytics Limited to Iris Worldwide for an undisclosed amount.
