Press ReleasesWe are delighted to announce that Alex Peal and Sue Staunton are to continue their roles as Joint Managing Partners of James Cowper Kreston for the next three years, as their fellow partners have re-elected them to continue for a second term effective from 1 May.
Alex and Sue’s original appointment as joint managing partners in 2020 was the first time for the firm that the role had been carried out by two partners. Their re-election is testament to the success of their joint leadership, which during the last three years has seen Alex and Sue leading the partnership to significant increases in revenue and profitability, at a time when it was also navigating the changes in the firm’s marketplace and working practices brought about through Covid; inflation; BREXIT and the war in Ukraine.
Alex and Sue have been instrumental in the firm’s success, bringing a wealth of experience and expertise to their roles as joint managing partners. As well as the financial growth experienced during the period, the last three years have seen the cementing of the firm’s leadership in the provision of financial advice. Alex and Sue’s strategic vision, combined with their dedication and commitment, have been integral to the firm’s success. The partners at the firm hope that Alex and Sue will further accelerate the firm’s growth and innovation as it continues to provide exceptional service to our clients to maximise their potential.
"I am excited to continue working with Sue, as we jointly lead the firm," said Alex. "The firm already delivers outstanding services to our clients and we are looking to further enhance this whilst prioritising the development of our great staff. In this shared role we can ensure that between us, Sue and I will be able to devote the required time to ensure our business is fit for now and the future."
“In the last three years the firm has moved towards a greater awareness of our wider environmental and social responsibilities and we’re taking action to address our environmental footprint as well as of course launching our Foundation, which is just about to make its second round of awards to charities, which will bring our total grants made to date to £60,000.” said Alex.
“We are very fortunate to have such a great team of partners at James Cowper Kreston, who are all focused on the same clear objectives for the firm. Alex and I share a common vision which ensures a collaborative approach to decision making with our fellow partners. The pair of us have different, but complementary skillsets which combined, mean that we are well positioned to drive our firm, staff and our clients forward. I am therefore thrilled that our fellow partners have re-elected us," said Sue. “Alex will continue to be responsible for the day to day operations of the firm, whilst I will continue to lead on the delivery of our strategy and our marketing. I am confident that with our fellow partners we will continue to achieve success for James Cowper Kreston.”
