Press ReleasesThames Valley accountants and business advisers James Cowper Kreston has strengthened its Corporate Tax team with the appointment of Margaret Savory.
Margaret joined the firm on 13 September from the Reading office of BDO.
She brings to James Cowper Kreston considerable experience in advising entrepreneurial and fast-growing businesses on all aspects of their corporate tax affairs. Her clients include companies at all stages of growth, from small owner-managed start-ups, large private equity-back businesses to AIM list companies.
Margaret has a particular interest and focus on life sciences and technology businesses across the Thames Valley, where her knowledge and understanding of the favourable R&D tax credit and patent box regimes is welcomed.
On joining James Cowper Kreston, Margaret said: “I am thrilled to be joining the firm’s highly respected Corporate Tax team. It is one of the stand-out tax teams in the Thames Valley with a terrific client base.”

James Cowper Kreston has in the past five years twice won Tax Team of the Year at the British Accountancy Awards, and has again this year been short-listed for the prestigious award.
