Joint Managing Partner
We are delighted to share that we are joining Advanced Oxford as a new sponsor member, supporting the development of Oxfordshire’s innovation ecosystem.
Oxford is renowned for its outstanding education, history, technological advances and innovation and we're proud to be involved and well connected to the technology sector, as well as entrepreneurs with growing owner-managed businesses. With our office located in Cumnor Hill, Oxford, we have long been supporters of the region’s knowledge and economy. We've partnered with law firm, Mishcon de Reya (formerly Taylor Vinters) and Oxford University Innovation, to develop and deliver the Structuring for Success course, which supports young, innovative companies on their journey to growth, and Joint Managing Partner, Sue Staunton, is Chair of Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce Health and Life Sciences group.
Sue Staunton commented, “We are deeply committed and invested in the technology sector that Oxford has to offer, particularly in research and development. Our partnership signifies our dedication to innovation, and we are proud that we will now be able to support businesses and members through our new sponsorship with Advanced Oxford, so that they can maximise their potential.”
Sarah Haywood, Advanced Oxford’s Managing Director said, “We are delighted to welcome James Cowper Kreston into Advanced Oxford’s membership, as a sponsor, but also as an active contributor to our work. James Cowper Kreston’s role, as accountancy experts and business advisors to many of the region’s science and technology-based companies, means that they are well placed to bring new perspectives and evidence to our work in support of Oxfordshire’s innovation economy.
The business environment and UK investment policies, including issues such as the R&D tax credit system, are of increasing importance to Advanced Oxford, particularly as we strengthen our work with super-regional bodies like the Oxford to Cambridge Super-Cluster Board. The ability to draw on the expertise that James Cowper Kreston brings to our work is invaluable.”
