Press ReleasesThames Valley and South Coast accountant James Cowper Kreston has taken on nine graduates and modern apprentices onto its student accountant training programme the highest number for six years.
The nine joined the award-winning firm on 9 September and will spend the next three years training to qualify as either chartered or certified accountants and account or tax technicians.
This year’s student intake are Tay Butt, Guy Cable, Aziz Coulibaly, Asantha De-Alwis, Jie-Si Han, and Jack Wild who all join the Business Services team, Lamorna Pascoe who joins the Personal Tax team, and Luke Parker-Hodds and Darcie Goulding who both join the Corporate Tax team.
Robert Holland, HR director at James Cowper Kreston said: “We are committed to providing the best possible training contracts for both university graduates and students who have completed A-levels. This year, with the economy beginning to show signs of growth, we have been able to take on nine new people – the highest intake for six years.
“We all look forward to welcoming and supporting them as they develop and begin their new chosen careers.”
In September this year, James Cowper Kreston was shortlisted for three awards in the prestigious annual British Accountancy Awards. The firm has been nominated for the ‘Mid Tier Firm of the Year’, ‘Audit Award of the Year’ and ‘Tax Award of the Year’.
