Press ReleasesThames Valley and South Coast accountants and business advisers James Cowper Kreston was last night (21 November) named ‘Tax Team of the Year’ at the prestigious annual British Accountancy Awards.
The firm was given the ‘Tax Award of the Year’ for its work in advising fast-growing companies in the technology sector. It is the second time in three years the firm has won this award. James Cowper Kreston was also highly commended in the ‘Audit Award of the Year’ category.
Steve Clarke, Managing Partner James Cowper Kreston, said: “We are thrilled to have been given the prestigious tax award for the second time in three years. The British Accountancy awards have confirmed what my colleagues and clients already know – that James Cowper Kreston has the best tax team in the UK outside the global accountancy firms.”
James Cowper Kreston beat off stiff competition from six other accountancy firms to the award, including the Grant Thornton’s Large Corporates International Tax team. It has built one of the UK’s strongest tax practices that acts for fast growing owner managed businesses working in the technology sector.
The firm’s advice is built around the three phases of a technology company’s life cycle:
