Thames Valley accountants and business advisers James Cowper Kreston has celebrated the successes of the region’s best businesses and charities sponsoring two categories in the annual Thames Valley Business Magazine Awards.

James Cowper Kreston sponsored the much-contested ‘SME of the Year’ for the fourth year in a row and ‘Charity of the Year’ awards for the second time.

Andy Cowie, Head of Marketing and Business Development, James Cowper Kreston said: “These awards are now in their 19th year and have firmly established themselves as part of the business calendar in the Thames Valley.  The number and quality of entries in both categories have been truly impressive and our congratulations go to all.”

The winner of the ‘SME of the Year’ Award this year went to Fleet-based CV-Library, a leading independent online job-board that currently advertises some 85,000 different jobs around the UK.

‘Charity of the Year’ was given to Style Acre, that provides supported living and a wide programme of community and volunteering activities for adults with learning difficulties.

Andy added: “CV-Library and Style Acre both stood out from the crowd.  Both are inspirational and making significant achievements in their own fields.  They are deserving winners.”
